Love this place. The staff are always so attentive and the food is good. Great place to drop in for a casual lunch and watch the world go by.

Ich habe das Restaurante A Gaivota während meines Aufenthalts an der Algarve entdeckt und bin absolut begeistert. Wer echtes, gutes portugiesisches Essen und erstklassigen Fisch sucht, wird hier definitiv nicht enttäuscht.
Schon beim Betreten habe ich mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm entspannt, herzlich und typisch portugiesisch. Ich hatte mich für den tagesfrischen gegrillten Fisch entschieden und wurde absolut belohnt: Er war perfekt zubereitet, unglaublich saftig und geschmacklich ein Traum. Dazu gab es knackigen Beilagensalat und einen wunderbaren regionalen Weißwein, am liebsten einen Vinho Verde ,der perfekt zum Meeresrauschen passte.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch den Service. Obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war, war das Personal durchgehend extrem aufmerksam, freundlich und gut gelaunt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für die tolle Lage und die hohe Qualität der Speisen absolut.
Ich kann das A Gaivota jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der in Quarteira gut essen möchte. Ich komme bei meinem nächsten Algarve-Urlaub ganz bestimmt wieder! Cumprimentos ao Miguel!Tradução
Authentic, incredibly delicious, and right on the seafront – my absolute favorite restaurant in Quarteira! I discovered Restaurante A Gaivota during my stay in the Algarve and I'm absolutely thrilled. Anyone looking for genuine, good Portuguese food and top-notch fish will definitely not be disappointed. I felt instantly at ease as soon as I walked in. The atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed, welcoming, and typically Portuguese. I opted for the freshly grilled fish and was absolutely rewarded: it was perfectly prepared, incredibly succulent, and tasted divine. It came with a crisp side salad and a wonderful local white wine, preferably a Vinho Verde, which perfectly complemented the sound of the waves. I'd also like to give special mention to the service. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff was consistently extremely attentive, friendly, and cheerful. The price-performance ratio is absolutely spot on, considering the fantastic location and the high quality of the food. I highly recommend A Gaivota to anyone looking for a great meal in Quarteira. I will definitely come back on my next Algarve holiday! Cumprimentos ao Miguel!

Superb. I went there hoping for a table as there were no bookings available online. Miguel and his team could not have been more accommodating. I chose the sea bream which was not on the menu (ask to see what fish they have), I have not tasted better and it was expertly prepared.…Mais avaliações

Apple pie is probably my favourite desert and their version does not disappoint. If you are staying anywhere in the area this restaurant should not be missed. We were specifically looking for a seafood restaurant, and this one came up in our search. Absolutely superb experience. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and unfussy. Didn't get the name of our waiter, but he was exemplary. Food was fantastic. Prawns and claws followed by tuna and sea bass. All cooked beautifully. Awesome. We will be back before we leave!
