We had a wonderful evening staff were very attentive/friendly and accounting My daughter wanted sardines so they did a child's portion Sardines were delicious Seabass with spinach and banana was amazing and nice to have something different. Dessert were lovely too. Lovely setting and we got to see a lovely sunset and the quartera swing

Excellent location for hungry customers, although according to the atmosphere and prices, it is more for an early evening pleasure. The staff are kindly, speaks several languages. Angus burger and steak with mushrooms are not highly recommended. Seafood specialties are probably better. Chilled tap water ( 1 lit.) costs 4 eu!

Excellent. Good food, very good location right by the beachwalk, good, frienly staff. I had Gaivota's steak the first time and next week the sea bass. Both very good. Highly recommended.

Had a walk along the sea front from our hotel and stopped here for a couple of drinks (Draught SuperBock and a fresh OJ. Perfect. Staff were very friendly. Super clean toilets. We didn't eat but the food looked really good. Great ambiance and sea view.

Gaivota is easily one of my favorite restaurants here in Quarteira. The food is always fabulous and quite often they have amazing specials like the salmon tartar I had recently which was amazing. The service is second to none and that it is essentially right on the beach with amazing views is a huge plus.

Absolutely beautiful spot on the beach. Rory was very kind to allow us stay while it was raining despite the shop not open for business yet. We were served with the most delicious hot chocolate and latte. Thank you, Rory. Obrigado

Struggling to get to Quarteria from a beach walk from Vale do Lobo because of the exceptionally high spring tides. So pleased to have discovered A Gaivota at the start of the eastern end of Quarteria prom. A late lunch was very enjoyable. Very tasty chicken salad with a curry dressing. Good value at €15. Exceptional service, prompt and pleasant.

We‘ve been here at the A Gaivota.several times, I had a whole Lobster.😊! I am a Chef myself and have travelling all around the world, but I hardly had never such a excellent meal, thanks to everyone at Gaivota! Tamara and Danny

Amazing starters, the mains are out of this world and when it comes to fresh fish believe me you will get the catch of the day, guaranteed. Fresh from the grill I would definitely recommend the "Linguado" (sole/halibut/flounder) or the juicy tuna stake. Also the rack of lamb with mint sauce was something special. The deserts are home made, keep some free space for their Mama's special or the red fruits cheesecake.
The staff and the owner are so welcoming, polite and will make you feel right at home.
I cannot forget to mention the location is wonderful. Sea front view with a scenery that is breath taking at sunset. Their indoors room is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows so you will not miss a thing.
Highly recommended.we loved the food and view here. Try the seafood rice, u won't regret it. The staff were also nice and friendly.
